Acting Executive Director - Rev. Greg Warren

Greg joined Camp Mitchell as Acting Executive Director in May 2025. He returns to the Diocese of Arkansas to joyfully assume this position. Greg was ordained in 2018 and served as the Rector at St. Peter’s Conway from that time through early 2024. Greg also served as the Camp’s Board Chair from 2020 through early 2024. He brings a passion for Camp, a commitment to faith, and several decades of business experience to Camp Mitchell. He’s committed to ensuring Camp continues to change lives for decades to come.

Michael Campbell - Director of Food Services (he/him)

Chef Michael trained with the Culinary Institute of America. He joined the Camp Mitchell team in the summer of 2022, providing meals that received rave reviews from both our campers and adult retreat groups alike. He not only brings expertise in the kitchen, but also with gardening and farm-to-table initiatives.

Zoltan “Z” Lapiscz - Maintenance Director

Zoltan-”Z”-joined Camp Mitchell’s staff in May 2025. As Maintenance Director, Z brings his years of experience as Maintenance Lead for several large apartment complexes to the benefit of Camp. Z has already had a significant impact on the functioning of Camp: he’s overseen a significant upgrade to Camp’s many HVAC systems, managed Camp’s transition to a state of the art septic system, and has contributed to the general upkeep and repair of our facilities.

Colleen Davis - Bookkeeper

Colleen has capably managed the Camp’s complex finances since 2023. She brings a wealth of insight and understanding to the position; helping ensure Camp continues to thrive. Her role is especially critical since Camp’s designation as a stand-alone 501c3.

Tessie Mix - Housekeeping

Tessie joined Camp Mitchell staff in April 2025. She is charged with keeping the Camp’s facilities ready for guests to arrive. It’s a big task, and Tessie prides herself on her fastidiousness, attention to detail, and responsiveness. Camp Mitchell is, admittedly, a rustic retreat (on a mountain, surrounded by 600+ acres of forest), but Tessie manages to keep the facilities clean and operational.
