Camp Mitchell offers Weddings with a View
With a variety of facilities to choose from, you can find the perfect location for your special day. Camp Mitchell’s iconic outdoor chapel on Petit Jean Mountain is available as a venue for your wedding or other event. Camp Mitchell’s property along the ridge features a stunning view of the valley below.
Hoke Lodge and Keller Hall are the premiere options for receptions, meals, brunches and other festivities. Additional limited, covered outdoor spaces are available as well. Food service can be catered in or arranged with our in-house chef.

We offer a full weekend retreat or a half day rental.
The Weekend Wedding is the way to go! Rent our entire facility from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning to provide all the time and space you need for your special occasion. The weekend rental includes lodging and meals (5-meal package) for up to 65 people (45 during off-season weekends).
We have half-day wedding options on Sunday afternoons and Friday mornings. Chapel-only rentals are subject to availability.
Summer availability at the Chapel on the main campus is limited to due to camps. Intimate, outdoor weddings are available on the Canterbury grounds year-round.

If you’d like to come and see the facilities, we strongly encourage you to schedule this at least one week in advance. Dropping in to view the facilities IS NOT GUARANTEED since we do not allow visitors on the property during private events, after dark, or at other times when the camp is closed.
To see everything you want to see at a guaranteed time, request a wedding tour with one of our friendly staff. There is a $25 nonrefundable fee for this tour. This amount will be deducted from your invoice when you book your wedding at Camp Mitchell! Sign up for a tour time by clicking HERE. The Chapel of Transfiguration
The 1955 Chapel of the Transfiguration is an open-air chapel designed in the Gothic Revival style that is located at Camp Mitchell on top of Petit Jean Mountain. The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program announced in January 2022 the chapel’s entry into the National Register of Historic Places.

Includes chairs and 14 tables; seats 120 for a meal or accommodates 150 for a reception.
Working stone fireplaces inside and outside on the Arkansas Porch.
Alcohol is permissible at the Executive Director’s discretion.
The commercial kitchen is not available for rent.

The Weekend Wedding Package - $8,000
The Camp Mitchell Weekend Package provides the wedding party with private use of Camp Mitchell’s rentable facilities from 3:00 PM Friday until 12:00 NOON Sunday and includes:
Two nights of lodging for up to 65 guests.
Options to host more overnight guests & day-only guests
Chapel of the Transfiguration (bench seats)
Keller Hall for a rehearsal dinner and wedding reception
Wedding Party Changing Quarters
Hoke Lodge (indoor) & Outdoor Pavilions
Access to camp’s tables and chairs
Meals for up to 65 guests (option for additional people)
The Weekend Wedding is the base package for up to 65 people during peak season. This include a 5-meal service at the menu tiers listed. Additional fees apply for increasing the headcount for overnight guests, day visitors, and meals. Additional fees apply for alterations to the set menu tiers such as catering a meal outdoors, serving it pre-plated, or adding entrees to a meal.
