Weddings at Camp Mitchell
Camp Mitchell is a beautiful and holy place for starting a life together. If you are interested in using our facilities for your upcoming wedding, please read the information below. Please contact us if you have any questions about our facilities or policies.
People usually book weddings at Camp Mitchell at least a year in advance. During our summer camp season (June - the 1st week of August) our chapel is available for Saturday weddings only.
Camp Mitchell Wedding Policy
1. The officiant of any wedding ceremony must be a licensed Christian minister recognized in the state of Arkansas.
2. At least one person of the couple seeking marriage must be a baptized Christian. (The Episcopal Church recognizes Christian baptism as valid within any Christian denomination.)
Wedding Facilities Rental Prices
Chapel of the Transfiguration -
$250 per hour
Weddings during June, July and August are Chapel rental only Saturdays only.
We only book weddings up to one year in advance
We do not book weddings in September, October or Labor Day weekend.
Keller Hall (indoor reception location) - $1,200 for four hours.
Alcohol is permissible at the Executive Director’s discretion.
The $1,200 includes:
building rental of the building
tables & chairs
But does NOT include use of the kitchen. You can either hire our Food Services Director to cater your event(s) you can hire a licensed caterer and pay an additional $100 to have our staff on site.
Camp Mitchell Exclusive Wedding Package
The Camp Mitchell Exclusive Wedding Package provides the wedding party with private use of Camp Mitchell facilities from 3:00 PM Friday until 12:00 NOON Sunday for $9,500 and includes:
Chapel of the Transfiguration
Keller Hall for a rehearsal dinner and wedding reception
Retreat Lodging (Grace Lodge, Hamilton House, Darragh Cabin, All Good Gifts Cabin-48 beds.)
Sunday morning breakfast/brunch for wedding party (for up to 30 people)
The wedding party will have the option of arranging with Camp Mitchell's Food Services Director and staff to cater the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at additional cost or hiring a licensed caterer and paying Camp Mitchell $250 to have its staff on site.
When available, additional lodging and meals can be arranged for an additional cost.
