Facilities

Campus:

Camp Mitchell is a non-profit entity owned and and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas. The main complex consists of 14 lodging, retreat and other buildings together with an open-air chapel, situated on over 600 forested acres running along the south brow of Petit Jean Mountain near Morrilton, AR.

Our dining hall and most lodges and cabins offer breathtaking views of scenic Ada Valley and the Arkansas River some 680 feet below with the Ozark foothills rolling off toward the southern horizon.

Recreational facilities include hiking and nature trails, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, ball field, sand volleyball court and fishing pond.

Our forest is home to many species of birds seldom seen in urban areas including Eagles, Turkeys and Roadrunners. Earth-bound residents include Red and Grey Foxes, Coyotes, Deer, Bobcats, Skunks, Raccoons, Opossums, Armadillos, Rabbits and Squirrels, as well as most other critters commonly found in a large wooded tract. Hunting is not allowed on Camp Mitchell property.

Camp Mitchell operates year-round and our lodging and retreat facilities are available for retreats, meetings, banquets, weddings, reunions or peaceful family getaways.
